At the Rudolf-Virchow-Center der University of Würzburg I was employed as scientific assistant.
I was responsible for the it-structure of the workgroup "Protein Mass Spectrometry and Functional Proteomics Group". My research interests were sequence database and thier efficiency as well as efficient search algorithms using these databases. The aim was rising the efficiency of the workgroup to the max.
In addition to this I was nominated as the commissioner for network infrastructure and I was responsible for the network infrastructure of the Rudolf-Virchow-Center.
At the IHK Würzburg-Schweinfurt I was sent to the board of examiners for Fachinformatiker as the employers' representative of the University of Würzburg.
I did software-design, databases, programming, project management, documentation and coaching of Ph. D. students, graduands and interns. In cooperatoin with the Department of Bioinformatics, I organized and held the lecture "Introduction to relationional databases and applicatoin in biology" (07409).
